How do funds flow?

Orders are made using the Storefront owner’s account (that’s you!), and covered by a credit card transaction managed by Sibi. The order will be invoiced to your account on your net credit terms, and every month at the end of the month we will pay you out for the total amount covering the order and any additional margin, less credit card and Sibi processing fees. The payout will go to the Storefront owner’s Stripe Connect account.

What is a Stripe Connect account?

Stripe Connect accounts make it simple to move funds around, so Storefront owners can get paid faster. Learn more about Stripe Connect accounts here.

How often I'm I paid out?

Storefront owners are paid out monthly at the end of the month.

What happens when a customer needs a refund?

If a customer requests a refund and the order is eligible for a refund, Sibi will refund the customer for the amount that was charged to their credit card, and the refund (negative) balance will be reflected on the Storefront owners Stripe account. The following payout will have the negative balance applied to it.

How do customers get support on their orders?

Customers can reach out to [email protected] for order procurement related concerns. If Sibi receives support requests not relevant to procurement, we will do our best to redirect them to the Storefront owner.

Can customers use a credit account or another payment method besides credit cards?

Yes, if the Storefront owner builds their own customer Storefront with building blocks we’ve developed (APIs and webhooks). This requires engineering work from the Storefront owner to own the payments logic.

How do warranties work? Who will be contacted for warranty service appointments?

Warranties are included on select categories (e.g. Appliances - 1 year) and can be claimed by reaching out to [email protected]. The primary contact on the order will be contacted for service appointments.

Who will be contacted for fulfillment?

The primary contact on the order will be contacted for fulfillment coordination. Explicitly, the Storefront owner will not be contacted for the fulfillment of orders on their Storefront.

How much will the customer pay for products on a Storefront?

Customers pay the base price of a product, taxes, and any fees charged by the supplier. Additionally, customers pay any markup on top of the base product/service price that the Storefront owner has control over including a small processing fee Sibi charges to cover operational costs. There is also a 3% credit card fee charged on the entire transaction amount. Reach out to Sibi directly if you’d like to understand more about customer pricing on Storefronts.
